Ole Schemion Wins Jackpot Prize At Super Million$

There was yet another win in the Super Million$ for Ole Schemion, who claimed his second cash out at the popular event last week. Schemion was in excellent form throughout the competition, as he claimed a prize of $317,740 for winning the GGPoker event.

However, not all the returns will be heading straight into the pocket of Schemion, as there were two investors that will also be celebrating the big win, which took place towards the end of last week.

Final Standings In Super Million$ Event

There were nine players still in contention on the final table, with Matthias Eibinger leading the way at the top of the leaderboard. At that point, it didn’t seem likely that Schemion would be able to mount a challenge for the title, as he was towards the lower end of the standings. The first player to fall during the action on the final table was David Miscikowski, who took home a total of $41,608 for his performance. Sean Winter and Nator were the next two players to fall, as they finished in eighth and seventh respectively.

Winter claimed a total prize of $53,647, while Nator claimed $69,168. Bruno Albuquerque was the player to finish in the next position, as he claimed a prize fund of $89,180 for his performance. He was swiftly followed out of the competition by Canadian player D’Auteuil, who finished by winning $114,982. Once again, half of the prize money that he collected was split between two different investors that had invested before the competition got underway.

It was at this point in the proceedings that Schemion began to up the ante, and that upped performance saw the end of the road for Stephen Chidwick. The legendary player won $148,248 for finishing in fourth place. This came just a week after he had won a High Roller Million$ event. Meanwhile, Mattias Eibinger was the final player to fall to set up a head-to-head contest between Schemion and MrGambol. The result never looked to be in danger, and MrGambol settled for second spot and a prize fund of $246,440 for his performance.

Huge Bet Made By Mike Matusow

There was a huge wager put down over the weekend, as Mike Matusow put his money where his mouth is by putting half of his bankroll on a bet for Daniel Negreanu to beat Doug Polk in the upcoming head to head battle. There is huge excitement around the poker world to see these two stars finally come to blows, and the event will get underway on the 1st November.

The winner of the heads-up challenge will be determined by the player that is in the black after the final hand. Matusow revealed his bet on social media, where he also admitted that he bet on Donald Trump to win the upcoming US Election. His bet hasn’t been warmly received by all users on social media, with some claiming that he should consider his own situation before making such a large bet on something that is out of his control.
