PokerStars To Hold First Ever Indian Winter Series

PokerStars has something special planned out for Indian poker players this holiday season in the form of massive giveaways that will be given away during the country’s first-ever PokerStars Winter Series. The massive tournament will be going down at the PokerStars.in and will run from December 16 to December 24 and a total of 1.48 crore rupees will be up for grabs as part of the total guaranteed prize pool. These will be spread across 37 events in an action-packed nine-day schedule and will culminate in the Main Event which has a 7,700 rupee buy-in as well as a guaranteed prize pool of 35 lakh rupees.

The Key Highlights

On the next day, December 17 at 20:00 HRS IST, there will be the 2,750 rupee-buy-in Battle Royale which will be offering a guaranteed prize pool of 500,000 rupees.

For more even more gaming fun, poker players will also be able to take part in the Monster Stack Special Edition that is scheduled for December 22 and features a buy-in of 4,400 rupees as well as a guaranteed prize pool of 700,000 rupees. On December 24 which, as mentioned earlier, will be the last day of the tournament there will be the EPT Sochi Main Event Qualifier and to players will need to deposit a buy-in of 2,750 rupees for the 400,000-rupee guaranteed prize pool.
