Some poker experts suggest that it is only a matter of time as there are only 44 players remaining in the competition.

Devastating News In World Of Poker

It wasn’t all reasons to be cheerful over the weekend, as there was also a heartbreaking piece of news from the United States. It was revealed in Heartland Poker Tour’s co-founder Todd Anderson’s post that Darvin Moon had passed away at the age of 56. Poker fans will be familiar with the amateur, who finished on the final table of the 2009 WSOP main event.

Moon was almost able to pull off one of the biggest shocks that the poker world had seen, and even held the lead at one point while on the final table. However, he would eventually fall in the tense head to head against Joe Cada. But, nevertheless, Moon captured the imagination of the poker world as he managed to turn his $130 buy-in, into just over $5 million. His impact on his fellow players was highlighted by the number of emotional social media posts sent after the news broke.
