PartyPoker made a massive announcement on Wednesday evening as they revealed that the Casino Sochi would be playing host to the upcoming MILLIONS Super High Roller Series. The event is due to take place over next weekend (6th-15th March).

It will be a huge attraction for the area as some of the biggest names in world poker will be in attendance for the event in Russia. The leading poker company have already revealed that we can expect to see Richard Yong, Rob Yong, Jason Koon and Paul Phua in attendance for the event. Organisers have already admitted that they can’t wait to show off the area to the players that will be attending.

Huge Buy-In Set For Event

The series has been renowned for its huge buy-in prices, and this event promises to be no different. It has already set the record for the biggest buy-in in Russian history, with the smallest of the eight events requiring a buy-in of $25,000. All of the events are expected to be of interest for those in attendance, but the undoubted main event will be the Super High Roller Bowl.

That competition has already made history for the largest buy-in in the country’s history, and with the players that will be competing, it is expected to be a must-see occasion. Poker Central officials have said that expanding the game into the Russian market is a ‘great moment’ for their company, and fans are expected to agree with that statement.

Full Schedule Revealed

Upon the announcement by PartyPoker, they also revealed the full schedule that fans could look forward to. The action will kick off on the 6th March at 2 pm, when the first round of the Millions High Roller event will take place. The opening buy-in for that event will be $25,000. This bar will remain the same until the 9th when the buy-in price will increase to $50,000. This will likely separate the players, and this could be the first time that we see players falling, but the action will only be getting more interesting.

The record-breaking Super High Roller Bowl event will see the buy-in rise to $250,000, but players will have a final opportunity to warm-up as there is a two-day event where the buy-in is at $100,000 beginning on the 11th. The Super High Roller Bowl will kick off at 5 pm on the 13th March. The last day of action in the record-breaking competition will take place on Sunday 15th March, with the winner finally crowned.
