Jaime Reyes Wins Online Borgata Poker Open Series Event

The poker action rolled on over the past weekend, with some entertaining action taking place in the Online Borgata Poker Open Series. The series got underway back on April 11th, but the final event of the series took place over the weekend. Players competed in the $1,060 buy-in event, with a prize fund of over $100,000 up for grabs.

The event was the third event of the series, and there were no shortage of excellent players competing for the spot at the top of the leaderboard. In total, 143 players entered the event, but only the final eight stars on the leaderboard were able to claim substantial cash prizes.

Reyes Claims Victory

The player to finish the event at the top of the leaderboard was Jaime Reyes. The American player was in excellent form throughout the event, and was able to come out on top in a final heads-up challenge against Michael Gagliano. Reyes’ best cash return prior to the event was $4,239, while he sits in 3,489th place on the all-time money list for players from New Jersey. This could arguably be his biggest victory to date, as he came out on top in a very talented field of players. Gagliano was unable to claim the win in the event, as he settled for second spot. Still, he was able to claim returns of $24,000, which was an excellent return for his performance. Dan Zack was the next player on the leaderboard.
