There was another engaging weekend of poker action around the world this previous weekend, with four winners crowned during the PartyPoker Millions series on Friday evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the biggest winners of the night came in the Mix-Max event, as Alexandros Theologis<\/a> was able to hold off competition from Adrian Mateos to get a huge win. He wasn\u2019t the only big winner in Friday\u2019s action though, as Eelis Parssinen and Daniel Parssinen also picked up wins in the action on the opening day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Theologis Picks Up Big Win<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Mix-Max event was all about the battle between Theologis and Adrian Mateos on Friday evening, as the two talented players fought until the final second for the right to win the event. The final table was a gripping event on Friday evening, with both players having their chances to claim the advantage throughout. However, it was Greek-born player Theologis that was able to hold on to claim the win, as he picked up prize money of $74,937 for his excellent performance. It was a tight affair for the victory though, as Mateos pushed him all the way in the battle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mateos was forced to settle for second spot on the leaderboard though, as he picked up considerable returns of $49,929. The action stepped up a gear on the final table, with a number of respected players all challenging for the spot at the top of the leaderboard. Samy Ouellani was the first player to fall though, as he finished back in seventh place. Andrii Novak finished just a place higher, while William Foxen and Pavel Plesuv also managed to finish in fifth and fourth respectively. Rui Ferreira was the player that just missed out on a place in the heads-up challenge, as he finished in third place and picked up returns of $34,855.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Parssinen Picks Up Win<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

There was also a competitive 6-Max Omaha high roller event on Friday night, with Finnish player Parssinen managing to hold on to the lead to claim the win. It was an engaging event, with a number of the most recognisable players finishing on the final table. However, Parssinen was the star to eventually run out as the winner, and he picked up $80,981 in returns from the event. Dante Fernandes and Maximilian Lehmanski were the two players to finish in second and third respectively, with Fernandes picking up returns of $49,736 while Lehmanski was rewarded for his third place finish with $32,437.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ka Kwan Lau finished a place further back in fourth, and returned $22,489 in the high roller event. Meanwhile, Adam Hendrix finished in fifth. Sami Kelopuro was the first player knocked out on the final table, as the Finnish player managed to claim returns of $12,006.
