Stevens finished top of the leaderboard and claimed the $393,362 in winnings. Meanwhile, \u2018Beanboozled\u2019 finished in second place and took home just over $300,000. Stevens\u2019 compatriot Nator was third in the standings, which meant that he claimed his winnings, which total up to $228,917. Canadian trio Sean Winter, Jack Schindler and \u2018McDavid97\u2019 were the next three players in the standings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Winter claimed $174,653, while Schindler and \u2018McDavid97\u2019 claimed $133,252 and $101,655 respectively. Rok Gostisa finished in seventh, while \u2018CharlieD23\u2019 and Gullaume Nolet rounded off the top nine players in the standings for the GGPoker event. There will be a chance to enter the next event, as it takes place in two weeks time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

GGPoker Forced To Respond To Scandal<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

GGPoker were also forced to address the recent cheating scandal centring around Fedor Kruse this week<\/a>. It comes after Kruse\u2019s roommates revealed that he had been cheating on various RTA games. GGPoker were one of the providers for games used by Kruse to accumulate his money, in which he took $90,000. However, the casino have now revealed that they are working hard to ensure that this type of thing doesn\u2019t happen again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

GGPoker revealed that they will adopt enhanced \u2018RTA\u2019 detection, and will make sure that they improve their detection platforms that will ensure that these players will not be able to take advantage again. By no means was Kruse the only player, as the casino announced that they had already banned 40 accounts for the same thing that Kruse was doing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, GGPoker also stated that an additional 40 accounts have been given a warning. These warnings mean that they are unsure whether the account is cheating at the moment, but they are looking carefully into the situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
