This will be <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"the Triton Million: A Helping Hand for Charity (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/calvinayre.com\/2019\/06\/17\/poker\/triton-poker-reveals-innovative-format-for-1m-triton-million-london-event\/\" target=\"_blank\">the Triton Million: A Helping Hand for Charity<\/a> which is going to be the most expensive poker tournament on the planet <strong>with a buy-in of \u00a31,050,000 (USD 1.3 million).<\/strong> As the date for the massive tournament draws nearer, Triton has recently confirmed that a total of 22 players have already signed up to compete in the high-profile poker tournament with more expected to sign up in coming weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"the-confirmed-players\">The Confirmed Players<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Paul Phua \u2013 Tom Dwan<\/li><li>Richard Yong \u2013 Daniel \u2018Jungleman\u2019 Cates<\/li><li>Stanley Choi \u2013 David Peters<\/li><li>Wai Kin Yong \u2013 Rui Cao<\/li><li>Bobby Baldwin \u2013 Jason Koon<\/li><li>Cary Katz \u2013 Bryn Kenney<\/li><li>Kiang Yu \u2013 Mikita Badziakouski<\/li><li>Ivan Leow \u2013 Timofey Kuznetsov<\/li><li>Rob Yong \u2013 Sam Trickett<\/li><li>Alfred De Carolis \u2013 Stephen Chidwick<\/li><li>Rick Salomon \u2013 TBA<\/li><li>Sun Yaqi \u2013 TBA<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Needless to say, each of these players hopes that by August 3 they will be the winners of one of the biggest prizes in the history of poker, that is, in addition to going down in history as some of the most <a href=\"https:\/\/www.moneypokersites.com\/news\/femi-fashakin-tops-big-50-for-1-147m-and-first-bracelet\/\">memorable personalities<\/a> in the world of poker. Unfortunately, <strong>not just anyone will be able to participate in the event not just because of the incredibly high buy-in but also because it is an invite-only tournament with the invitees being wealthy business people and recreational poker players.<\/strong> The idea of having only the super-rich participating in the event was very innovative and well thought-out \u2013 it resulted in the most evenly-balanced $1 million buy-in tournament in history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, since it is a freezeout, any player is capable of winning it. Even so, Bryn Kenney is\ndefinitely set to start as one of the favorites especially considering that he\nhas already earned a whopping $9.2 million in live\ntournament winnings since the year began. Still, as confident as he may be, he\nwill still have to play to overtake and stay ahead\nof some other outstanding poker players such as Justin Bonomo, David\nPeters and Sam Trickett.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Evidently, the Triton Million event is going to be every bit as action-packed as expected. There non-pro poker players that are set to participate are also just as good as their professional counterparts which means that there will be some <strong>mind-blowing action when the event finally rolls around on August 1.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As its name suggests, the poker tournament is mainly aimed at funding certain charities. Some of the charities that will be beneficiaries of the tournament include Credit One World Charity Foundation, Caring for Children Foundation, Raising for Effective Giving (REG), and Healthy Hong Kong.
