After the elimination of the two final Brazilian players, the final four was finally set. The elimination meant that all players on the final table were guaranteed at least $10,000. The first to fall was Germany’s F.mca777. He took home an impressive $10,629 for his performance. Next to fall was Bosgerben for the Netherlands. The Dutchman walked away with a huge $14,912, which highlighted an excellent performance.
The battle was finally then set for Charlton to go one on one with cooltwister from Belarus. However, the final winner of the competition never appeared to be in doubt, with Charlton winning his 215th title in online poker. The victory also meant that Charlton has now won a staggering $3.5 million across his career.
His prize for winning this event was a cool $29,347. Second-placed cooltwister took home $20,919 for his performance. The win was also the 38th time that Charlton has won a five-figure prize from an event. His success and longevity in poker ensure that he will forever be remembered as one of the legends of the game.
